Set in a quiet rural village , with views overlooking the magical mountains of the Serra d’Açor and the Serra Estrela, guesthouse Sol Lua Estrela is an ideal location for a peaceful break, away from the speed and busyness of city life, and a good base from which to visit the many river beaches and country hikes and walks in the surrounding mountains and valleys.
The guesthouse retains the original schiste architectural character of an old village farmhouse while being fully renovated to a modern standard with taste and simplicity.

The guesthouse has three different units for rent that can be combined or rented separately. All units are centred around a spacious courtyard, featuring an original olive press and bread oven, and a majestic magenta bougainvillaea tree proudly displaying its vibrant colour.

Take it easy at this unique, characterful room that opens up on a spacious central courtyard. The room has its own bathroom with shower and toilet.There is a little outside terrace that serves as fumoir.

Cool room with sofabed, little kitchen, dining/office table and a lot of bird prints on the wall.Own bathroom and toilet.
4 — Sol + Lua
Cool spacious (combo) flat

Sol & Lua can be combined into one single flat with bathroom, kitchen, sitting & dining area and a double bedroom.The sofabed can sleep one or two more if needed.
